Sherry Aemisegger – Assistant Principal Sherry Aemisegger serves as Assistant Principal (AP) to the McMullen-Booth Elementary School (MBES) learning community. She began with MBES as a curriculum specialist in 1997 and was invited to fill the newly approved AP position in October of 1998. Mrs. Aemisegger has been in the Pinellas County district since 1990 and has held several positions including self-contained specific learning disabilities (SLD) teacher, SLD resource teacher, curriculum specialist and currently Assistant Principal. Previous to her teaching in Florida she taught for five years in a private residential school for emotionally impaired boys in the state of Michigan. Mrs. Aemisegger’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science (1978) degree from Western Michigan University in special education K-12, and a Master of Arts (1983) degree in Educational Leadership, also from Western Michigan University. She holds Florida certification in the areas emotionally handicapped, specific learning disabilities, elementary education and educational leadership.
